 LYDIA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL 

Seated at number 3, Ejeh Street at Ichakwu Amejo (Ugbokolo), Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, is Lydia Memorial Hospital characterized with a therapeutic atmosphere of calm, comfortable, and psychologically supportive, reducing stress and promoting recovery by focusing on a patient's complete well-being.

On arrival at this prestigious hospital, one is greeted with cheerfulness at the gate through the reception and Nurses' stations to every office/station by the brilliant, cheerful and industrious members of staff.

 In their gentle hands and steadfast hearts of the nurses at the nurses' station,  hope and healing find their arts.  

Through tireless days and sleepless nights, the members of staff of LMH stand as beacons, shining bright and with every of their touch, a life is renewed. In their voices, lies kindness, comfort, love, empathy, compassion and strength.

The corridors of Lydia Memorial Hospital stretch in a long, sterile prairie of waiting, a journey measured not by miles, but by the slow tick of a wall clock and the soft shuffle of hurried feet. The air hangs heavy with the sharp, clean scent of antiseptic, a constant, clinical note that underscores every breath.

Ogbodo, Lydia Memorial Hospital is a private hospital with the vision to ensuring a complete state of well-being of her patients and promote healthy medical practices in all forms, and a mission to provide affordable and easily accessible excellent healthcare services through God's Gifted hands in the purest form.

Commissioned by Distinguished Senator Abba Moro, Senator representing the good people of Benue South, and the Senate Minority Leader, on the 6th Day of June, 2022, Lydia Memorial Hospital is praised for its consistent provision of medical services in the rural area, earning community love and media recognition.

Through the collective efforts of the management and staff and it's founder, Dr Mark Ogbodo, the hospital has been promptly and consistently providing medical services to the public and pushing for medical excellence, through strong collaborations with the Government,. stakeholders and professional bodies responsible for medical verting and certification. 

Since its inception, it has provided several medical outreaches to the community and beyond and was also designated a holding center for infectious diseases by the Benue State Government in the early 2025. Similarly, it has accredited by the National Health Insurance Agency for NHIS services in August, 2025, likewise, approval by the Benue State Government for immunisation services and ART unit.

While the hospital in working tirelessly for a state of art facility and digitalisation of Medical Records, which are limited for now, by the epileptic power supply, it's has a fully functional physiotherapy unit, ultrasound machine, well equipped laboratory, pharmacy, maternity, etc.
